Angela Jimenez is not only a superb and uniquely gifted photographer, she is also a lovely presence to have at a wedding. She was never intrusive or pushy, always protective of the proceedings and the wedding party. Her pre-wedding contact with us was professional and thorough and incredibly efficient. We loved having her at the wedding -- and the resultant photos are everything we could have dreamed of and more. We can't believe how many she took and she seems to have been everywhere at once. This was a wedding on our farm and she managed to be at the barn, on the hill, in the house, on the patio at all the right moments. All our guests commented on how terrific she was. And we will treasure the photos (which she sent to us on time!) I cannot recommend her more highly. Angela is an angel and a gem!

Angela is incredibly creative, utterly professional and detail-oriented, and generally astounding to work with. She is very very sensitive to surroundings and moods, and a truly great listener which enabled her to capture everything we said we wanted, and made her almost psychic during the event - she was everywhere, always at the right moment. Her photos are gorgeous and unique, not the typical cookie-cutter wedding photos. She was incredibly helpful in orchestrating the shots, and developing a strategy before the wedding so that it ran smoothly on site. Also, she is fun. Fun! Playful, respectful, relaxed, and filled us with a sense of ease at every stage, and especially during the shot-taking. I could not recommend her more highly. Did I say the photos are incredible? They're the best we've seen!

It is hard to overstate what a good job Angela did photographing our wedding. She met with us beforehand to go over the sequence of events in the ceremony and the reception, and figured out how we wanted everything shot. The quality of the shots we got back was remarkable -- wonderfully arranged formal photographs, fun group shots, and lots of great perfect-moment shots of our friends and family. Importantly, Angela and her crew were a joy to deal with on the day itself, when we had a lot of other things to think about. I've been to a number of weddings where the photographers bark orders, or generally get in the way. Not Angela. While managing to capture every important moment, she did it completely unobtrusively, yet somehow was always right there when we wanted to catch a group shot with some of our friends or relatives. I can't stress enough how important this was. While finding a top-quality photographer is hard enough, finding one who really "gets" how to cover a wedding is really rare. We were delighted.

Angela is one of the most organized individuals I've had the pleasure of working with. Before I commited to her, we met and had a conversation about what I was looking for in a photographer. Her approach is very personal. She wants to get things just right. She's also very detail-oriented, which is great for a bride. She leaves no stone unturned. A month or so before the wedding she sent me a worksheet that required shotlist. That is great because the bride and the photographer can be on the same page about expectations. She's also very flexible and open to new ideas. I had an idea that she took and made it better than what I pitched. She takes your wedding day very seriously and the pictures reflect that. She's great at candid shots that show the emotion you may miss because you're in your own world and all the formal shots perfect. She's unbelievable thorough and personable. Her sense of humor fits in with any crowd and she deals with large groups of people, who are all excited and even drunk, smoothly. She worked with an assistant, who was just as friendly and efficient as she was. If there were more stars to highlight, I would highlight them all!

I hired Angela Jimenez to photograph my 60th birthday party because I was familiar with her work from the NY Times and watched admiringly as she coaxed very nice photos out of and captured the beauty of my 18-month-old granddaughter and my 90-year-old Battle-of-the-Bulge-veteran neighbor and everyone in between, tap dancers, bus-driving painters, neighborhood eccentrics. One regret: I didn't hire a photographer to photograph her at work.
